Discovery Workshop – Third Sector
We all know the time and effort being made to tune in to the requirements of the new charities act as well as to collaborate with each other and Government of Jersey in a more effective way than we do currently – which there is increasing legitimate pressure to do.
Even a casual glance to the UK gives us an insight to alternative ways of both working with government and supporting each other – and most importantly the people who rely on the Charities for vital support and assistance
In partnership with the Director of Local and Customer Services, The Resolution Centre, as part of their CSR commitment, is running a Discovery Workshops tailored to the needs of the Third Sector.
The Discovery Workshop uses mediation, coaching and facilitation techniques, demonstrating the wider use of resolution processes for leadership and collaboration. The Discovery Workshop is being used in many settings as the first step towards a Leadership Summit; the process helps diverse groups of people collaborate in an active and meaningful way that builds a better future for society.
The aim of the workshop: To discover together our need for, and the principles of how we can work together more collaboratively towards a better society.
Starting at 0900 – 1230 this event will be held at St Paul’s Centre and is by invitation only as numbers are strictly limited.
The session will be run by Howard Le Cornu CEO of the Resolution Centre and Craig Cathcart from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh.
